For many, getting started in CrossFit can be intimidating. There is a lot of unfamiliar stuff; strange acronyms, whiteboards with names and numbers, workouts that are identified by womens’ names…and where the heck are all the Nautilus weight machines? There is so much that is unfamiliar. The Foundations Class was created to address this issue and create a foundation on which to build our members’ future fitness. It is a set of classes designed to introduce people to the fundamental movements and concepts of CrossFit. The emphasis of the Foundations Classes is skill development and exposure to the basic elements of our program. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes. We will be emphasizing technique and lay the foundation that will ensure your success at the next level. This is the safest and surest way that we can help those new to CrossFit get started
Once you have finished the foundations classes, you will have a good start on the basics and be able to continue your skill and athletic development in our CrossFit Classes. Consistency is very important and we encourage members to come in at least 3 days a week. At this rate you will see noticeable progress in your fitness as we continue to perfect technique and improve your athletic skill.
